I am pretty loyal to Southwest for domestic travel for flights under 4 hours. Luckily, a lot of my small weekend trips take me a short distance and so Southwest is my go to airline. They have no change fees. No cancellation fees. And they make booking with points super duper easy. I just booked roundtrip airfare to Las Vegas for a total of $5. Yes you read that correctly, $5!! I booked one leg of a trip to Portland on Virgin America with points I didn’t even know I had. Needless to say, these programs are free and will add up for you one day. So when someone wants you to sign up for one of their loyalty programs, just do it! You never know when you will earn a free flight!
