Today was a little adventure to the Mercedes-Benz Museum. There is a Porsche Museum as well but apparently it is just cars and no history. The Mercedes museum offered the history of Mercedes as well as snippets of history throughout the world and how that affected this German engineered car. Think of WWI, WWII, the Berlin Wall, the assassination of JFK and the invention of the World Wide Web. These events, as well as many others, helped shape the development and advancement of this car in their own way.

The building the museum is housed in has an interesting architectural structure. There are 8 floors of exhibits connected in a corkscrew design to keep an easy flow. I received a discount from my hostel of 6€ but the admission is only 8€ including a voice guided tour. Definitely a stop worth seeing in Stuttgart!

A quick travel note: More often than not, museums are closed on Monday. This is something to plan ahead for if you are only in a city for a night or two.
