I love my little weekend getaways and I love when my local friends can experience them with me. My friend Matt and I decided to have a staycation for him and getaway for me at the Firesky in Scottsdale this past weekend. Firesky is part of Kimpton hotels and the best part of Kimpton hotels is their loyalty program as well as their free wine hour. For those of you who don’t know, all Kimpton hotels have a free wine service from 5-6pm! This is a great way to meet people and a great “happy hour” to have at the hotel.
This really was just a trip to relax and visit friends and work on my tan for one last time this summer.
The next trip on the calendar is Peru and I am sure I will have a lot more to say and a lot more exciting information to share after that.
